How We Became Gods
This story is a work of fiction, but is inspired and based on several proven facts. A work - a theory explaining the concept of the Creator. Some of it was my imagination and some of it inspired by Erich Von Daniken's Chariot of Gods. A spy satellite called 'Black Knight' patrols the premises of our planet and we have no idea of its origin and working. Area 51 is an area in Nevada where an alleged underground base allegedly houses extra-terrestrial crafts and beings. Many such unexplained and hidden mysteries shroud our knowledge. And where there is no coherent explanation, there are theories to explain the anomalies. I do not wish to offend or hurt anyone's concept of a God, this is only fiction, an article written by an alien being who visited our planet millenniums ago.
How We Became Gods
How We Became Gods
About 5000 zilons (12000
earthen years) ago we successfully landed on one of the few planets we know to
harbour life. The planet, codenamed X13g was only discovered fortuitously when
our astrologers were busy examining C16p, the closest star to the one that
supported planet X13g. Since its discovery only about 133 zons (50 earthen
years), the planet was considered a sea of exploitation by many renounced
scientists. The planet had a nitrogenous atmosphere containing oxygen. It had
liquid water and a perfect settlement near its star. Beings from our planet
could find it difficult to live at such a place but life could have forged to
bloom there. So for this and several other accountable reasons, we chose to
travel to X13g.
X13g was at a distance of 40
light zilons away and we were prepared to take this journey. It took us 60
zilons to reach the planet (time dilation and length contraction included), and
what we found there was absolutely fascinating. Our satellite had provided us
with information but walking on the surface was a different experience entirely.
With our shape-shifting suits and weapons, we were ready to tackle beings (if
any) on the planet. Lands were separated through huge water channels and most
of the area was covered with huge green immobile living organisms that were
later confirmed to release oxygen into the atmosphere. Mobile life however was
small and rare. But there was a huge diversity. Due to harsh living conditions
life had evolved differently in different areas. However the most intelligent
amongst them were a species about the three-fifth of our size. They were called
Sapiens.
Our first encounter with a Sapien
was rather unexpected. Small clusters of Sapiens were scattered all over and we
accidentally stumbled onto one. The group was not very scared of us, they
rather seemed interested. We observed and learned their tenor but never connected
with one physically. One day a Sapien came too close to our proximity. We had
not realised the effects of Sapiens on us - diseases, deaths - so we had to
obliterate the threat. We used the body for experimentation and concluded they
weren't harmful. Perhaps this is how they started fearing us. Our advance anti-gravity
planes only deepened their fears. Gradually more of us entered earth for
further research.
Sapiens at different places
were different, most feared us as much as they feared did lightning and
thunder, while some stared in awe as we used or methods to study the planet.
Matter vaporizers, anti-gravity crafts, Udipiyum energy, were all magical,
unexplainable devices and technologies. We kept away from them, experimented
from far. We changed our shapes to fit inconspicuously into their society. For
zilons we collected data by being among them. It was incredible how these
creatures advanced in short periods of time.
However there were moments when
our cover was blown. These moments replenished the concept of a being far more
superior to them, a being with powers to do what none of them could. They
started creating stories of such extraordinary aliens with phobic powers beyond
their comprehension. This was of no threat to us, until they developed the art
of storing and passing down information through generations, much like us. We became
more conscious, but somewhere an error always slip passed. These encounters
were scripted down by them. They observed our patrol vehicles and said we came
from the sky above. They called us the Creator and the Destroyer. They called us Gods.
One story grew into a hundred.
Some true, some false. But the most remarkable era was the one which led us to the
release of almost all our troops from X13g. A battle of Gods. Misunderstandings
arose from our minor conflicts. Some wanted to take over the planet, others
wanted to continue as there was yet much to learn. A battle brewed through
these conflicts. An uncanny war that was to be witnessed by all and felt by
some who we chose to fight with us. Sapiens recorded what they observed without
any explanation. These observations were twisted and twisted further in time
until finally they culminated into books. Like waves that cut rocks with time,
these books cut Sapiens. The group that wanted to rule the planet set its
instructions for the forever fearful Sapiens in these books.
After the battle, almost all
the troops were called back here – to our planet, but a few chose to stay. Our
species in these many zilons has adapted to the conditions at X13g. They
breathe the planet’s air, drink the planet’s water and through our satellite
send us constant information about the planet. Anomalies on the planet are
almost extensively caused by activities of our species that Sapiens do not
understand. We have mastered the art of concealing ourselves in their society -
watching them thrive through their barriers just as we did a long time ago. Sapiens worship their Gods yet live unaware of the fact that their Gods live amongst them.
