Break

Taking a break from daily life is necessary, because you're not superman. The world may have equal good and bad, but the bad is easier felt than the good. If you don't let go of all 'bad' that you've been collecting in daily activities, it will burn you.

Break

Trapped in a box devoid of fluoresce,
And it's getting dimmer by the minute.
Someone switch the lights on,
Because people are tripping on baubles.

The walls are drawing closer and closer,
It's not long before they cave.
But it's no issue; not of concern,
The riches will fly off; the wretches will die.

Dark wakens the nightmares,
They're crawling all over the place,
They'll hold onto you and digest your brain,
Perhaps they already have!

           Where's the sympathy?
          Where's gone humanity?
Search for it in any but human better -
Because this animal has disowned its own.

           The world disdained in chaos,
And they ask what is wrong?
           Why are you so silent?
Come join us in the charade, they mean!

Oh you're no better than the crowd,
A joker in a gathering of clowns.
They've only let out -
What you have held tight!

So the fire lets them see outside,
The same fire that lets you peek inside,
But what of the box?
And what of the space?

What of the anger,
That's been raging since?
And what of the times
When you need to remember just to breathe?

Take a break,
Work on the span but don't haste into it,
Because in a world built on ambiguity,
Nothing really matters.
